The image I chose to remix for the practice activity was of a woman climbing on the rocky mountains of Fort Collins. The beauteous scenery of the mountainside view was stunning to me. This brought an interest of mine into perspective as I highly value the importance for human - nature interaction. In the remixed image, I intended on highlighting the significance of exploring the environment as well as taking risks, experiencing different parts of the world, and becoming familiar with our Earth. The remixed image captures wildlife, plant life, water, mountains, rock, and human involvement. The people in the image are actively experiencing and discovering the Earth in a positive and healthy manner. Exploration of the environment is important for people of all ages as it is beneficial in bringing awareness of our surroundings and developing respect and passion for nature.
